Lee County Animal Shelter reached out to us with an enormous plea. All shelter cats were in jeopardy of being euthanized due to overcrowding and in a desperate attempt to clear the long term residents, they reached out to our rescue. Basically, if we didn't take from the list that week, the cat wasn't guaranteed to be there the next. However, these are some of the most wonderful cats you'll meet. After spending months and months in cages, they were brought to our Long Island foster homes where the each await their families! 

RORY has found her way into a foster home and is certainly soaking up the attention.  She's an adolescent girl coming up on her first birthday without a family and we just wish to make that happen. She's sweet, kind and food is most definitely the way to her heart. Now we understand it is kitten season and everyone wants teeny tiny, but don't overlook any of these perfect cats.  They deserve someone's love too. 

She/He is ready to find her/his forever home.  She/He is spayed/neutered FIV/LEUK negative, UTD on vaccines for her/his age, dewormed, and microchipped.
