Colt suffered a gunshot which left a pellet lodged in his spine... and now at just over a year old, he is faced with life long and potentially life threatening challenges. Life as he once knew it, has drastically changed. Due to neurological damage, Colt walks with an unsteady sway and cannot control his bladder. After being placed in a kill shelter, his time was running out - and resources for animals with serious medical challenges are extremely limited!
But that's where we stepped in. Saint Francis Farm believes in creating a second chance to animals despite their medical or behavioral statuses. We believe that EVERY life matters, and our farm is designed to care for dogs and cats of all backgrounds. We have a group of highly trained staff members, along with 50 acres of land devoted solely to the care and contentment of our animals. The number of animals that we are able to provide a second opportunity for depends 100% on our supporters and the amount of funding available.
We do not know what the future holds for Colt. We are relying on you to help us cover the expense of further diagnostics on his condition. While we would love to eventually find Colt a home of his very own, we know that his time at the farm may be infinite. If you are able to provide a one time donation towards Colt's medical expenses... or if you are able to sponsor his time at the farm monthly by becoming his Animal Angel... please click the button above. Your donation is truly life-changing!
