POPPY is an adorable male Dachshund mix. He is approximately 15 lbs and 1 year old. He is loving and just a sweet little boy. He likes other dogs and doesn't seem interested in cats. He was rescued off the streets of rural SC with his siblings. His mother was subsequently rescued as well after she had another litter of babies. He is really excited for a family or friend to call my very own, someone who will love him and guide him through life's adventure!

At the time of adoption a donation of $250 (dogs over 6 months) and $350 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home.

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

$150 - For Kittens

$125 - For Cats
