Lee County Animal Shelter reached out to us with an enormous plea. All shelter cats were in jeopardy of being euthanized due to overcrowding and in a desperate attempt to clear the long term residents, they reached out to our rescue. Basically, if we didn't take from the list that week, the cat wasn't guaranteed to be there the next. However, these are some of the most wonderful cats you'll meet. After spending months and months in cages, they were brought to our Long Island foster homes where the each await their families!

The X files trio came to the shelter as babies and they've been waiting all this time to find their homes. How sad is that? These three grew up in the cages of the shelter, never having families of their own. We have made it our job to find them their perfect homes. Settling into foster care, they are acclimating to home life. They love having toys to play with, people to give them affection and just overall room to run around. They are NOT bonded as they weren't even in the same shelter cages (just next to), but they do love other cats as they had kitty friends they ran around with at the shelter. We would love to find them their homes quickly so they can have their happily ever afters!

She/He is ready to find her/his forever home.  She/He is spayed/neutered FIV/LEUK negative, UTD on vaccines for her/his age, dewormed, and microchipped.

Our cats (and rescue) are located on Long Island, NY, and YES, we do adopt out of state within reasonable distance! For more information, more pictures, inquiries and applications about our cats, please visit LCARescue.org
