What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. Fairfield County Animal Control and Adoption Center is an overcrowded facility packed to the max with cats. Tiny kittens have come to the shelter and are growing up behind the bars of the cage. Older cats are coming in and barely have a shot to be adopted. Nothing is moving. No one is being adopted. It is just one big stall. This is why we need to help these cats. 

sweet INDEPENDENCE is getting ready for her adoption debut and we would love nothing more than for her to find a forever family! She's learning what it means to be a family member and has an amazing foster who is helping to tug her out of her shell! A little shy at first, she will thrive with the right family who gives her patience and love. She is quiet and unassuming at first, and definitely needs reassurance and loving. As she gets to know you more, she will light up when attention is given her way. She likes to be pet, loved on and head scratches the most. 

She  is ready to find her forever home.  She is spayed, FIV/LEUK negative, UTD on vaccines for her age, dewormed, and microchipped.
