Our girl Willow. She looooves being outside, rubbing in the grass, sniffing things, or watching the world go by. She will stay out by herself, but prefers if she can be with her person. When I first got her she was pretty ambivalent about meeting other dogs, but now it is something she likes to initiate. She definitely prefers one-on-one playtime and gets nervous if there are too many dogs. Also seems to prefer male dogs, smaller dogs, and calmer, dogs with a more passive personality. She definitely has moments of letting out her energy, so don’t let these calm photos fool you. She loves playing with toys and can get very excited. She shows her excitement by prancing and jumping. She also can sometimes think it is fun to chase after delivery trucks. She would love a home with a fenced in yard with lots of things for her to sniff. While she’s adapted to city life, I have a feeling she may have been a country girl. Don’t let her age fool you, this girl is very spunky, but also puts herself to bed at 9 pm. Such a joyful, happy pup. So far she’s been great with the kids we’ve met, but they have all also been super dog-respectful as well. And she’s shown the proper amount of fear and respect to my bossy mean old cat. Lol
