Fairfield County Animal Control and Adoption Center is an overcrowded facility packed to the max with cats. Tiny kittens have come to the shelter and are growing up behind the bars of the cage. Older cats are coming in and barely have a shot to be adopted. Nothing is moving. No one is being adopted. It is just one big stall. This is why we need to help these cats.

Over the past six weeks, we have taken the "B" cats from this shelter. 18 cats and kittens were turned into the shelter by an owner who could no longer take care of all of them. Mama BECCA, Mama BUFFY and baby BEATRICE are the finally three of them all. What can we tell you about any of them? Well....Becca and Buffy are gentle, sweet girls with motherly dispositions. Each had babies, yet they're so young themselves. They love cuddles, human attention, great with other cats, don't mind dogs and have proven themselves to be wonderful family pets. Baby Beatrice is your typical kitten, ready to rumble, tumble and play her little heart out. She's sweet as pie and trusting of everyone! Now it is time for these ladies to finally get to their forever homes. Let's do it!

Each is ready to find her forever home. Each is spayed, FIV/LEUK negative, UTD on vaccines for her age, dewormed, and microchipped.

At the time of adoption a donation is required before the animal is placed in an adoptive home.

$600 - All dogs

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

$150 - For Kittens

$125 - For Cats
