Fairfield County Animal Control and Adoption Center is an overcrowded facility packed to the max with cats. Tiny kittens have come to the shelter and are growing up behind the bars of the cage. Older cats are coming in and barely have a shot to be adopted. Nothing is moving. No one is being adopted. It is just one big stall. This is why we need to help these cats.

LORI is an absolute delight who is being passed over in favor of smaller kittens. This little lady is craving love from someone and wants a family of her very own. She's got a lot of love to give and just needs 1 shot from someone to give her the chance

She is ready to find her forever home. She is spayed, FIV/LEUK negative, UTD on vaccines for her age, dewormed, and microchipped.

We are a foster based organization located on Long Island, NY. We do adopt out of state within a reasonable distance. Applications and more information about our cats can be found on our website LCARescue.org

At the time of adoption a donation is required before the animal is placed in an adoptive home.

$600 - All dogs

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

$150 - For Kittens

$125 - For Cats
