FOSTER UPDATE: Jon Boy has been with us for some time now. He is with our son who is an ACTIVE 2.5 yr old. JB is so tolerant with him. He gets along great with our pack of dogs both male and female. There is one of our dog he's not to fond of, but none of our dogs are fond of that same dog either so that's no surprise to me. When you call him he comes. He likes to lay against the foundation of my house and chill. He also likes to waddle around the yard with the other dogs. The only time he barks is when my neighbors dogs are out and against the fence. Its like they are talking to each other. He loves to snuggle and give kisses. He loves to chew on Busy bones or raw hides. He patiently waits for a treat when he comes in from outside. He has been the easiest foster we have had the pleasure of fostering. He does not need to be crated, just give him a fluffy bed and he is as happy as can be. He will make someone VERY happy one day when he finds his forever home. Until then I will enjoy every moment with him.******

Jon Boy has had a long journey, he has been in foster care since Jan. and has completed his treatment for heartworm. Jon boy is house trained, well mannered and approx 5 yrs old/55 lbs. Walks perfect on a leash, but since his fosters live way back off the road, he does fine off leash. He will come when you call him and doesn't get too far away from you at anytime. Very laid back, not a demanding dog. LOVES to be brushed. Rides okay in the car but does not like to get in the crate. He will eventually settle down but really does not like to be crated. He would be the perfect companion for someone who just wants a buddy to hang out with. He does, however, like to play. Drake was his best bud when I had him here and they played together all the time. He gets along well with my 4 dogs, male and female and our neighbor's male dog. Won't you consider making me a member of your family?

At the time of adoption a donation of $250 (dogs over 6 months) and $350 (dogs 6 months and under) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home.

$300 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 8rs and older)

$200- For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs

$150 - For Kittens

$125 - For Cats
